Here is the Basics of what you need to know before signing up with Gridiron Football DFW

Registration: Select the season, then location, age group, and complete the form and submit the payment. If you have a team code you can enter it to be directly placed on a roster. You can also request to be on the same team with a buddy. 

Locations: For the Spring Season we will have locations in Frisco, Fort Worth, Addison, Mansfield and Keller. We will only be able to have all location if we have enough sign ups. We may have to combine locations if sign ups are low due to Staffing. 

Pricing: The earlier you register the more you save! Pricing will increase the closer to the season we get. Also make sure to check out the newsletters and our socials for promos and contests!

Refunds: We will only give refunds prior to a season starting due to special circumstances. We normally can offer a credit for a future season though. Once uniforms are ordered there will be NO more refunds or credits given! 

We offer both Co-Ed and Girls only divisions at all of our locations (if applicable). A Safe non contact sport. Divisions Pre-k through High School. We include a jersey, shorts and flag belt with every registration. We will offer camps and skills clinics to put you ahead of the game! 7 games over 5 weeks (two double headers) and a single elimination tournament at the end of the season with 1 game guaranteed. 

Recreational or Competitive- We offer Recreational, Competitive, and Elite Competitive divisions in the Fall and Spring only. 

• Recreational Flag Football: Suitable for all skill levels, including beginners and casual players. Focuses on fun, inclusively, and a relaxed atmosphere. Emphasis on participation, enjoyment, and fostering a sense of community. Winning is not the sole objective, fair play and sportsmanship are encouraged. Teams may have diverse skill backgrounds, allowing friends and family to play together. One referee per field, penalties may be explained before being called.
• Competitive Flag Football: Geared towards more experienced players with higher skill levels and athleticism. Emphasizes competition and higher performance standards. Winning becomes more of a primary focus, with a drive to outperform opponents. Team compositions are more structured. Minimum of two referees per game, penalties are called as seen.
• Elite Competitive:The elite competitive division  represents the pinnacle of skill and competition. Teams and players showcase exceptional athleticism, strategic prowess, and a deep understanding of the game. With intense gameplay, fast-paced action, and high-level skills, this division features seasoned athletes excelling in Flag Football. Winning becomes the primary focus, with a drive to outperform all opponents. WE WILL NOT BE PLACING ANY FREE AGENTS IN THIS DIVISION! ALL TEAMS MUST COME FORMED ALREADY! Minimum of two referees per game, penalties are called as seen.
• Choose the right division based on your preferences and goals, as there will be no switching between recreational and competitive divisions once teams are formed.

We age verify all our players so you will be required to upload  a report card or other applicable document. 

Become a Coach: Sign up during player registration as a head coach. Please email us to get a coach discount code for $50 off your child's registrations. You will receive a team code you can give to all your players that they can use to be added directly to your roster. You can also sign up without registering a player by creating an account then signing up as a volunteer and head coach. We will be offering schedule requests, a coach group app where we can answer all questions and any help you may need to have the best season yet!

Game Cancellations: If we have to cancel 1 game due to weather we will NOT reschedule it. It will just go into the score as a canceled game and will not affect the standings. If we have to cancel a second game due to weather we will reschedule it for the next week during that weeks' games. 

What you need: A jersey and pocketless shorts (included in registration). A mouth guard and Cleats. 

Uniform Size Chart:

Helmet Requirement: Not required for 5-on-5 Flag Football.

Divisions Offered: Pre-K Fundamentals, Co-ed and Girls-only by grade and High school 

Pre-K Fundamentals: Shortened games 3v3 perfect for our littlest players! This is a safe non-contact sport. 20 minute games focused on developing the littlest football players. Think of it as Tee-ball but for flag football. They will play a 5 week season with 1 game per week. They will get a shirt and flag belt with registration. It will prepare them for the next division. 

High School Division: Competitive divisions. Comes with a jersey, shorts, and a flag belt. Single division of 10th-12th grade. We will offer camps and skills clinics to put you ahead of the game! 7 games over 5 weeks (two double headers) and a single elimination tournament at the end of the season with 1 game guaranteed. 

Game Days: Games played on Saturdays.

Practice Schedule: Each individual coach selects the practice schedule that works best for them.

Gate Fee: No fee for regular season games. End of season tournaments or any games played at The Star in Frisco will have a gate fee for spectators. Players and coaches (limited per team) will get in free.
